Here at theadvance we believe that small groups are a great tool at helping people discover more about themselves and more about God. We believe that spiritual growth and development happens the best in the context of a small group environment so we are committed to having a great experience where students can grow.
Small groups in theadvance community are about caring and accountable friendships. They are about creating space for students to study and explore God’s Word where they can challenge each other to live out what they learn.
The journey is often rough and small groups are a great way for students to hold each other up and encourage each other, especially when someone is not doing so well. Small groups at theadvance happen on Friday nights at Cedarview Alliance Church as part of our high school environment. Small groups are split up primarily by grade and gender, grade 9/10 clusters and 11/12 clusters.
